It’s been awhile since I’ve posted anything.
So I’ve been doing quite the bit of work on ELGN locally here in Wisconsin. I’ll be posting a blog post on that soon enough up on ELGN’s blog of what’s new and what’s to come. That’s really all for now however I’ll get back into writing blog posts more often.
One notable thing that’s new in my life is my girlfriend. She’s the definition to the sense of the word “amazing”. I’ll give more info on how amazing she is later. For now, I’ve got some sleep to catch up on.
Testing out a new Mac blogging program called Blogo. Just a demo but depending on how I like the software, I may buy it or put it on my wishlist. :]
So far so good as it’s a simple user interface. Straight to the point. A dropbox for picture uploads, the option for rich/HTML text editing.
With that little info, I’ll have to post this blog post as I’ve not finished learning about this application. I’ll edit this post (If I remember) when I learn more.
So I was just informed about an hour ago that my future employer John, got my hardware for the iPhone development project I’ll be starting. So in about maybe two or three weeks time, I’ll be developing iPhone applications on my own and with this company. All I need now is an iPhone or iTouch to try it on. As I’ve heard, the iPhone SDK simulator doesn’t do as well of a testing job as the actual machines themselves. I’ll buy an iPhone or iTouch with the future cash I bring in I suppose. I just figured this was kind of cool!
So I’m going to take my blog in a new direction, as well as keep going in my own direction. That direction is periodical humor. Here is the first image in the series.

The Shirt
So the EternaL Gaming Network is getting to the merchandise stage, at least as far as going to and showing them off at the Geek.Kon Convention goes. ELGN staff Derek, Jacob, and Myself will all be sporting these shirts. Hell since we’re advertising, if people are interested in buying some, we can sure as hell do that too. As I was already planning on it.
What the hell kind of ping is that?
So I was vent with some buddies from my old World of Warcraft guild… My computer starts to lag, and when I do a “status” command in the remote control.. It times out. Once the lag is all gone, I type status again and it starts to respond. I look at the pings and… Well, I had the ping you see in the screen shot. That’s just one fucked up ping. With the way pings work, that would techically mean that I have the godliest ping ever, that I have no lag, plus the fact that I’d pretty much be making my Internet Service Provider lag. I just find that pretty god damn amusing though that my ping was that odd. Change the minus symbol to a plus and that’s what my ping was for real I’m sure, as lag doesn’t cause a negative ping… Ever.
Whatever, I just felt like showing that to people as it’s just fucked up and weird. You may click on the image for a larger view, as I scaled it down obviously. Enjoy the image, and a possible laugh.
Guess what everyone! The EternaL Gaming Network has reached it’s goal of $100 for the advertisement! The last $40 was given (as a whole) by Chris Mooney [Site][Twitter].
I’m honestly touched by Chris’s generosity, as with all the other donators too. I have yet to meet any of them in person (Besides myself of course), and yet they’ll gladly help to support the likes of ELGN.
Chris did donate by request however, as I went to him, asking him if he would, or if he know anyone who would like to donate. I don’t like specifically asking people, however we were getting close to the deadline, and we need that ad as a huge way to get our name out there.

I can email them the advertisement artwork and our ad will be all placed in time for the event (Oct 23rd-25th).
